Overview

The ENERGENIUS project is a Horizon Europe project designed to transform how citizens, businesses, and communities interact with energy. By leveraging digital tools, AI-driven insights, gamification, and cross-sector innovation, it makes energy management simple, engaging, and beneficial for everyone, striving to achieve democracy in the energy transition.

A comprehensive set of digital tools and services, tailored to enhance energy efficiency and promote sustainable practices. These include among others:

  • Scan-to-Digital Twin (S2DT): A quick, user-friendly tool to create 3D models of homes for energy management.
  • GURU AI Advisor: A decision support system with personalized guidance for energy savings and renewable investments.
  • PANORAMA Dashboard: Visualizing energy use, CO2 savings, and efficiency impacts in real time.
  • EcoPulse Smartwatch: A wearable device that tracks health metrics alongside energy data.–

Motivation

ENERGENIUS envisions a future where every citizen is at the heart of the energy transition. The project aims to make energy management inclusive, ensuring equal access to tools and resources for individuals, businesses, and communities. By combining sustainability, technology, and engagement, ENERGENIUS democratizes energy solutions, driving efficiency, awareness, and adoption of renewable energy sources (RES) across Europe.
